• Trumbull approves White Plains Road housing and retail development (theridgefieldpress.com) — A new two-story building with shops, restaurant space, and 10 one-bedroom apartments has been approved for 855–861 White Plains Road, across from the Trumbull Center firehouse. The project adds sidewalks, bike racks, and EV chargers, but will require demolishing two existing homes once residents relocate, with construction expected to start next year and last about a year.
   

• 2 Men Found Asleep In Stolen Car With Items Taken During String Of Trumbull Thefts: Cops (newsbreak.com) — Trumbull police arrested two 19-year-olds found asleep in a stolen car on Whitney Avenue, surrounded by items believed taken from unlocked vehicles in town and nearby communities. A 16-year-old Trumbull boy was also charged in a separate stolen-car case, after a September that saw 18 thefts from cars and eight stolen vehicles, many left unlocked or with keys inside.
