Rick Abriola, 58 of Trumbull: Played Professional Jai-alai
He worked for the family business N.A. Abriola and Sons Plumbing and Heating.

Richard (Rick) Abriola, age 58, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.
Born in Bridgeport on February 4, 1958, he was the oldest son of Beverly Burlant Abriola and the late Nicholas A. Abriola Jr. of Trumbull. Rick was a graduate of Bullard-Havens Technical High School in 1976, and worked in the family business, N.A. Abriola & Son Plumbing & Heating for many years.
He also played professional Jai-alai in Newport, RI. and was an avid salt and fresh water fisherman. Rick was most known for his humor and warm personality, love for animals and the Rolling Stones.

In addition to his mother Beverly, he is survived by his sister, Michele Abriola and brother, Robert Abriola, two nephews, Bobby and Nicholas Abriola, all of Trumbull, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering celebrating Rick's life will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A prayer service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
