Road Closures, Significant Delays Expected In Trumbull Sunday: Police

Road closures are expected this weekend in Trumbull as the Connecticut United Motorcycle Ride passes through town, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — Road closures are expected Sunday afternoon in Trumbull as the 22nd Annual Connecticut United Motorcycle Ride passes through town, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Brian Weir said the motorcycle ride is Connecticut's largest Sept. 11 tribute sponsored by the Uniform Professional Firefighters of Connecticut.

On Sunday, the ride will travel into Trumbull from Monroe on Route 25 South, then turn south onto Route 111 (Main Street). The ride will then travel into Bridgeport, Weir said.

According to Weir, drivers should expect road closures and significant delays along this route from approximately 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
