Ryan Frederick Shaw, age 24, of Trumbull, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Born in Bridgeport on October 2, 1991, he was a son of Liza M. Charest of Fort Meyers, FL and the late Kevin G. Shaw of Southbury.

Ryan, beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend was a 2016 graduate of Porter and Chester Institute in Stratford and a 2010 graduate of Trumbull High School.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his brother, Corey E. Shaw of Shelton, his sister, Brittany A. Shaw of Pottstown, PA, his uncle, Edward F. Shaw, Jr. of New Britain, a special aunt, Christine Kuehn, her son, Thomas Kuehn Jr. and his sons, Alex and Kyle, all of Trumbull with whom he resided. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends. Ryan never stopped fighting to be the person he truly wanted to be. He will be remembered as a generous, loyal, kind-hearted person and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
