St. Joseph Advances To Semifinals In FCIAC Boys Hockey Playoffs

Sander Boroczky scored a hat trick Friday as the boys hockey team defeated Wilton 5-4 in the FCIAC quarterfinals at the Shelton Ice Rinks.
Conor Crouse and Christian Keator also scored for the third-seeded Cadets (17-4), who will take on either No. 2 Ridgfield or No. 7 Greenwich in the semifinals on Wednesday.
Ridgfield defeated St. Joseph 4-1 last week to grab the No. 2 seed in the FCIAC playoffs.

Zach Carrano recorded 21 saves for the Cadets, who had to fight off a Wilton comeback attempt in the third period. St. Joseph appeared to be cruising with a 4-1 lead after two.
Alex Pagliaro tallied two goals and Matt Kobyra and Henry Lee one each for the Warriors (11-9-1).
