St. Joseph Girls Soccer Rolls Into Class M Quarterfinals
Alyssa Christo scores four goals for Cadets, who riut Griswold, 8-0

The St. Joseph girls soccer team is running roughshod through the Class M state tournament.
Alyssa Christo pumped in four goals Saturday and Sami Grasso added two as the fourth-seeded Cadets blasted Griswold 8-0 in a second-round game.
Julia Marino and Sabrina Toole also scored for St. Joseph, which enjoyed a 24-2 edge in shots.

The Cadets ( 16-2-1) have won their first two state tournament games by a combined margin of 16-1. They posted an 8-1 win over Killingly in the first round.
In the quarterfinals, St. Joseph will host No. 5 seed Lewis Mills on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
