Thefts, a DUI and Disorderly Conduct

The following arrest information was supplied by the Trumbull Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

Alleged Thefts

Melissa Jean Koutrakos, 35, of Goddard Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with third-degree larceny after she allegedly tried to take $2,500 in merchandise from the Hawley Lane Target.

Police said she took vacuum cleaners and an Xbox. She is free on a written promise to appear in court.

Also, Samuel Medina, 23, of Arch Street, Naugatuck, is charged with six counts of sixth-degree larceny. Police said he took a total of nearly $700 from his Trumbull employer on six different occasions.

Meanwhile, James F. Brown, 32, of Birdsey Street, Bridgeport, is accused of shoplifting from the Hawley Lane Target. He was also found with other items whose source police are investigating.

His bond was set at $1,000.

Disorderly Conduct and a DUI

Felipe Machado, 19, of Russ Road, Trumbull, is charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Police said he threw several items during a dispute.

Jose Carrasquillo, 60, of Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with failure to use headlamps and driving under the influence.

Police said he was stopped on Old Town Road where he refused a breathalzyer test and failed field sobriety tests. Police said they also found empty alcohol bottles in the car.

His bond was set at $1,000.
