BOE 2017 President 1988 EMSPA, Zone 1 Director NAESP, Federal Relations Representative.

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.

The single pressing issue facing the BOE is maintaining and improving our fine educational school system based declining federal, state and local funding. Trumbull needs to attract
both large and small businesses to expand our grand list which would result in more tax money available for the educational budget.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

years and was a Supervisor of Student Teachers for 2 local universities.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As a BOE member, I have served as co-chair of the Policy Committee, amember of the Finance Committee and Cafeteria Innovative Team. I am very proud to have worked with the Food Manager to design and implement a breakfast program in January 2019 at Middlebrook and Frenchtown Elementary Schools and the remaining schools came
online this past September.

Workingwith staff members, we won the National Blue Ribbon Award at Tashua Elementary School. At Frenchtown Elementary School, we won CT Elementary School of the Year and Outstanding Technology School. I have been elected to many positions nationally, locally and on a state level.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

My father always said whenver you can seek input and guidance but
make your own decisions.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a life long learner who is passionate, responsible, enthusiastic and caring. KIDS, always come first! I am accountable and will continue to build on our tradition of preparing all students for success.
