$500,000 of the amount is for design and $7.5 million for construction.
Other big ticket items include two artificial turf projects. A request for the Trumbull High soccer field is $1.2 million.
The turf would be made with a shock absorption mat and GeoFill, a natural fiber material instead of rubber tire fill, according to the capital project document.

Minimal maintenance is required on artificial turf and it virtually eliminates the need to cancel games and practice due to weather.
The turf carpet at Indian Ledge Park is in need of replacement, according to the document. It is currently more than 12 years old and beyond its estimated 10-year lifespan. The estimated cost will be $625,000.
About $330,000 in drainage repairs at Indian Ledge and $254,000 in paving is also marked in the document.
A proposed renovation project at town hall would cost $950,000. A telephone upgrade for the Board of Education and town is estimated to cost $600,000.
