Trumbull Cell Tower to Improve Radio, Cell Coverage
The tower located at police headquarters should improve both cellphone and police radio coverage in town.

TRUMBULL, CT—Cellphone users and emergency responders will soon have better coverage as work on the 150-foot tower at police headquarters nears completion.
Construction on the tower is complete and radio equipment must be installed, according to the Trumbull Times.
Some spots of Trumbull had dead zones for police radio. Former Chief Tom Kiely said he was out of radio contact during a bank robbery on White Plains Road and had to drive a distance in order to communicate.
