Trumbull Chef Charged with Murder to be Tried by Jury

A judge continued the case after finding enough probable cause to proceed. The charge stems from an alleged road rage incident.

The legal process will continue for a Trumbull chef who was charged with murder after an altercation turned deadly on Route 8/25 connector in December.

Tony Espinal, 36, was charged with murder. He and Bryant Kelly, 27, are believed to have gotten into a fight following an accident on the highway.

A judge found probable cause to continue the case, according to the Connecticut Post. Espinal pleaded not guilty and wants a trial by jury.
