Trumbull Considers Change to Leaf Pickup Program
The town is looking to save money on leaf pickup. Nearby towns of similar size pay 10 percent what Trumbull does.

Trumbull is considering a change to its leaf pickup program starting in fall 2016.
A recent report presented at the Board of Finance determined neighboring towns such as Fairfield have about the same miles of road as Trumbull but pay 10 percent for leaf-pick up, according to the Trumbull Times.
Differences including back pickup versus curb vacuuming make the difference.
