Trumbull Democrats Campaign Promise: Roll Back Pay Raises

Trumbull Democrats have made a campaign promise to rollback pay raises for the first selectman and some other town officials.

The first selectman is due a 20 percent pay raise over five years after a recent town council vote, according to the Trumbull Times.

Some other elected positions have also been given pay raises.

Democrats currently hold four of 21 seats on the council.
