Trumbull Democrats Hopeful Tesoro Appointed to Board of Finance

TRUMBULL, CT—Democrats are hopeful that Town Council member and former first selectman candidate Vicki Tesoro will replace Tom Kelly on the Board of Finance.

Kelly left due to an ongoing health problem involving a family member, according to the Trumbull Times.

First Selectman Tim Herbst has the authority to appoint replacements for vacancies under the town charter. The replacement must be of the same political party.

Herbst has yet to appoint a replacement for the Zoning Board of Appeals after Democrat Richard Puskar died in March.
