Trumbull Democrats: New Senior Center Shouldn't Be Priority
Democratic Town Committee Chairman Tom Kelly questioned the timing, especially in the state's current fiscal situation.

TRUMBULL, CT — Democratic Town Committee Chairman Tom Kelly questioned the need for building a new senior/community center as other buildings in town are in need of renovation and the state cut educational aid.
Kelly said schools besides Trumbull High, Frenchtown Elementary and Trumbull Early Childhood Education Center date back to the 1950's and 60's and are in need of some work, according to the Trumbull Times.
He also said seniors would rather have an investment in programs and staff.
