Trumbull To Distribute 3,600 Coronavirus Test Kits Saturday

TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull will distribute another 3,600 free coronavirus test kits to residents at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Trumbull High School, First Selectman Vicki Tesoro announced.

Saturday's distribution will be on a first come, first served basis, and Tesoro asked those residents who already received free kits not to come, to allow first-time recipients to obtain kits.

"I understand the continued frustration that not everyone will get a test kit, however this is the allocation we received from the State," Tesoro wrote on Facebook (see below). "If we receive more kits, we will do another distribution to the community."

Those attending the distribution are asked to enter the high school parking lot through the Hillcrest Middle School entrance off Daniels Farm Road; do not begin lining up before 9 a.m., and have identification ready that proves Trumbull residency.
