The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Keeping our community safe and seeing this pandemic thru to it's end. I will support and advocate for measures that the administration deems necessary to keep our kids and our essential workers and our seniors safe.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I have experience in this seat as I was appointed to Mary Beth Thornton's seat when she moved to another district in Trumbull mid-term. I bring a broad range of experience to the table with a background as a Corporate Executive Chef in both business and private schools managing kitchen renovation and a large operating budget. I also bring perspective as a small business owner having recently started a personal chef service for seniors.
Accomplishments:
I have trained, managed and developed hundreds of diverse employees in one of Glassdoor's 2019 Best Places to work companies. Here in Trumbull I organized and managed the operations, and communication and financials of the Hillcrest Ski Club for 7 years.
Other issues:
I used to spend far too much time on social media trying to effect change. I realized that it was more productive to put the phone down and get to work. I really enjoy participating in the process and knowing that we all really do have a voice if we use it wisely and if we respectfully listen to the other voices in the room to find consensus
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I want them to know that I'm accessible. They should know that they can reach out with concerns or questions. At the very least I will point them in the direction toward resolution.
