Experience: Town Council Representative, District 4, Chair, and Middlebrook School Roof Building Committee

Family in government: My son is a supreme court Justice in Alaska

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

One of the most serious issues facing the town is the future of the Trumbull Mall, one of our largest taxpayers. With the changing landscape of the retail market, and malls are changing. I endorse and support the world class study of the property initiated by the owners of the property and the town of Trumbull. This will give our community the necessary information to support this economic cornerstone in our community.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

My experience on the Town Council and as a member of Chair of the Middlebrook School Roof Building Committee give me a higher level of experience with Town Government and policies.

Accomplishments:

Successful career in fundraising where I had contact with many diverse groups of individuals. I also served as a Development committee member with the FCCF and and a volunteer with the Mercy Learning Center.

Other issues:

I am for stable taxes and support for our public schools. I am also an advocate for citizen engagement in government and hope to make it easier for people to be involved on Town Committees.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I've lived in Trumbull for 27 years. I thoroughly enjoy our parks and the Pequonnock RiverTrail, and am a big fan of the library, and as I am a member of two book groups. I would like to see more walking areas near the trails.
