Trumbull Family Donates $34k to Trumbull EMS

The money will buy machines that perform chest compressions for cardiac arrest patients.

A local family’s generous and anonymous donation will help save lives in Trumbull.

The family donated $34,000, which will be used to buy two LUCAS CPR devices, which are used for chest compressions during cardiac arrest, according to the Trumbull Times.

The machines provide consistent chest compressions and therefore raise the success rate of restarting the heart to a normal rhythm.
