Trumbull High Student Transported to Hospital After Medical Incident
The incident was reported to be an "overdose" on social media, but that wasn't the case.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull High School student who took an over the counter pain relief medication was transported to a local hospital Monday afternoon.
The student took the pain relief medication yesterday. The student was awake and alert when police and EMS arrived around 1 p.m., said Lt. Doug Smith, police spokesman.
"The incident may have prompted some confusion and concern via social media when an 'overdose' was reported at the school. Trumbull Police want to stress that this incident was isolated to one person and had no effect on any other students," Smith said.
