Trumbull Home Invasion Arrest Made
A home invasion occurred in Trumbull last night and a resident was bit, police said.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested a New Britain man after he broke into a Daniels Farm Road residence and assaulted a resident Saturday night, according to police.
Police were dispatched around 11 p.m. The resident told police that a man banged on the front door and then damaged items on the porch. The resident opened the door and the man forced himself inside, said Deputy Chief Thomas Savarese.
Jonathan Harris, 24, struck the resident and bit him on the hand before he ran out of the house, Savarese said.

A Trumbull K-9 tracked Harris to a nearby shed and he was apprehended by officers. Harris is charged with first-degree assault, home invasion, burglary and criminal mischief and was held on a $500,000 bond.
Both the resident and Harris were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
