Trumbull Lawyer Gets Prison Time in Life Insurance Scheme
He personally profited $272,000 as part of the scheme.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull attorney was sentenced to three years in federal prison after he was found guilty of participating in a life insurance scheme.
David Quatrella, 62, participated in a scheme to assist elderly people with applying for multimillion dollar life insurance policies, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.
The victims were offered free life insurance for two years and then Quatrella and others would attempt to sell the policy and provide a share of the proceeds to the insured. Investors were recruited with the understanding they would earn a profit when the policies were sold.
