Trumbull Legislators Host Food Drive
Collections benefited the Trumbull Food Pantry.

Three Trumbull state representatives put together an annual month-long food drive to benefit the Trumbull Food Pantry.
State Representatives Dave Rutigliano (R-123), together with his fellow Trumbull Representatives Laura Devlin (R-134) and Ben McGorty (R-122) collected food during the holiday season.
On Saturday December 12 all three Trumbull officials stood outside the Stop and Shop and personally collected a few car loads of food.

“The continued generosity of the people of Trumbull never ceases to amaze me, we live in a great community,” Rutigliano said
“Time and again, the Trumbull community has stepped up to support and help our neighbors,” Devlin said.

The pantry accepts non-perishable food items, paper products like paper towels and toilet paper, and toiletries such as shampoo and toothpaste. Additionally, the pantry accepts gift cards from local stores that allow pantry workers to buy items they are unable to stock.
For anyone who has not donated but still wishes to you can drop off donations at The Center at Priscilla Place during building hours, which are 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. If you are dropping off a large donation, please call (203) 452-5198 to notify the Trumbull Social Services staff.
