Trumbull Mall Fraudulent Credit Card Arrests Made
Two men tried to buy several expensive items at the mall, but were foiled by employees and officers, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — Two New York men were arrested after they used stolen credit cards at the Trumbull Mall following a short foot pursuit, according to police.
Elijah McNair, 35, and David Raysor, 31, of Mount Vernon, NY attempted to make purchases at several stores, said Lt. Brian Weir, police spokesman. They attempted to buy four pairs of sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut using a card that was previously declined. They also tried to use cards to buy two gold necklaces at Michael's Jewelers, but they were declined as well.
Police were called by an employee. Raysor left in a black Chevrolet Tahoe and McNair left on foot, Weir said. Both were eventually taken into custody.

Officers found multiple credit cards, a credit card skimmer and state identification cards that didn't belong to either man. McNair also had a counterfeit $100 bill in his possession, Weir said.
The two were charged with unlawful possession of a personal identifying information device, conspiracy to commit ID theft, credit card theft, illegal use of a scanning device and criminal impersonation. McNair was also charged with first-degree forgery and Raysor was charged with interfering with police. Both were released on $25,000 bonds.
