Trumbull Man Charged for Crash That Killed Friend

The crash left Trumbull resident Anthony Teixeira, 21, dead: Breaking.

TRUMBULL, CT—A Trumbull man was charged with manslaughter after a fatal suspected drunk driving crash killed his friend, according to police.

Tyler Graziano, 21, was arrested this week for the Nov. 26, 2015 crash that left Anthony Teixeira, 21, dead, according to the Connecticut Post.

Graziano's blood-alcohol level was .206, more than double the legal limit, police said. He later told police he may have blacked out while driving.

Emergency responders went to the area of 100 Beardsley Parkway shortly before 1 a.m. Nov. 26 for an accident, police said.

Teixeira of Trumbull suffered serious head injuries and was transported to the hospital. He passed away on Monday after being put into a medically induced coma

Graziano is charged with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, two counts of second-degree assault and DUI. Other occupants sustained non-life threatening injuries.
