Trumbull Man Involved in Milford Accident, Fled Scene, Gets Into Another Accident: Police

Police say a witnesses to the first accident followed the accused to another town where he got into a second accident.

MILFORD, CT — Milford Police say a Trumbull man is accused of being involved in a motor vehicle accident and he allegedly fled the scene into Stratford where he was involved in another accident there, police said. A witness from the first Milford accident followed the accused to Stratford, police added.

Police said they responded to the an accident in Milford in which James Turner, 29, of Jerusalem Hill in Trumbull, is accused to have left the scene in his vehicle.

Investigation led to the arrest of Turner, who was found at a different accident scene in Stratford where a witness to the first accident had followed his vehicle and witnessed Turner's vehicle crash in Stratford as well, police said.

Turner is charged with failure to drive right and evading responsibility. He was released on a $500 bond.
