Trumbull Mom Hosted Underage Drinking Party: PD

One girl was reportedly taken to the hospital after consuming various drugs.

TRUMBULL, CT- A Moose Hill Road mother was charged after she hosted an underage drinking party Saturday, according to police.

Police responded to a residence on Moose Hill Road after a concerned neighbor said someone drove over her lawn and that there was a nearby party.

Police arrived and found a party at a residence. Several youths scattered.

Inside they found Kimberly Atherton, 53, along with her teenage daughter and a couple of underage youths. Atherton appeared intoxicated and EMS was contacted, police said.

Some of the youths allegedly admitted to drinking vodka and smoking marijuana. One girl vomited as she exited the home and told police she consumed vodka, muscle relaxers marijuana and codeine, according to the Trumbull Times. She was transported to the hospital.

Atherton was given a summons for hosting an underage drinking party and was released at the scene.
