Trumbull PD Hires 4 Recruit Officers

The four recruit candidates will attend the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden beginning on April 6.

From the Trumbull Police Department: The Trumbull Police Department welcomes the addition of four police officer candidates to the town’s police force. The four individuals sworn in as recruits on April 3, 2018 during a ceremony at Trumbull Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. are:

  • Samantha Bardos, age 22 of Norwalk, CT
  • Brendan Burke, age 38 of Bronx, NY
  • Derek Laaser, age 24 of Milford, CT
  • Abigail Frazier, age 27 of Trumbull, CT

The four recruit candidates will attend the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden beginning on April 6, 2018, for nearly six months of law enforcement training. The CT Police Officer Standards & Training curriculum consists of over 850 hours of classroom, practical instruction and physical fitness conditioning to prepare the recruit officers to serve and perform the many duties of a police officer in today’s communities.
