Trumbull Police Chief Honored As 'Distinguished Chief'

Trumbull Police Chief Michael Lombardo was honored for his leadership and dedication to the department.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police Chief Michael Lombardo was honored by the Police Commissioners Association of Connecticut for his leadership of the department.

Lombardo become police chief four years ago and before that was with the Wilton Police Department for more than 30 years.

“I am very honored and humbled to receive this award, but all of the hard work and dedications belongs to the officers that work day-in and day-out to protect the community of Trumbull," Lombardo said.

Westport Police Chief Foti Koskinas and Danbury Chief Patrick Ridenhour received the same honor.

PCAC is composed of elected and appointed police commissioners from across Connecticut.
