Trumbull Police: Don't Drive with a Protective Order

High-Priced Larcenies

Several people were arrested in separate incidents involving alleged shoplifting of video game systems and clothing.

Jasmine Elaine Bracy, 23, and Delonde Monaye Thomas, 23, both of New Haven, are each charged with fifth-degree larceny.

Police said the two women entered fitting room at Lord & Taylor at the Westfield Trumbull Mall with two dresses and left the store without paying, police said. They were stopped and found with $576 in store merchandise and Victoria's Secret items worth about $165.

Their bonds were set at $1,000 each.

Melissa Jean Koutrakos, 35, of Goddard Avenue, Bridgeport, is accused of putting three X-Box 360 game systems and walked out without paying at Target at the Hawley Lane Mall. She's charged with fourth-degree larceny.

The systems were worth about $1,300 police said. Her bond was set at $2,500.

Domestic Violence and Protective Orders

A woman is accused of throwing a cup of hot coffee at a teenager.

Melinda Ann Vieux, 41, of Gorham Place, Trumbull is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment.

The state Department of Children and Families called police, who responded. Police said there was a verbal dispute that led to the incident.

The youth suffered burns to his back and shoulders, police said.

Vieux was released on a written promise to appear in court.

Anibal Perez, 34, of East Main Street, Bridgeport, is accused of following an ex-girlfriend at the Westfield Trumbull Mall in violation of a protective order. His bond was set at $5,000.

Christopher John Brennan, 21, of Hill Circle, Trumbull, is charged with second-degree harassment and violation of a protective order.

On April 20, Brennan called his ex-girlfriend eight times in one day and sent numerous text messages in violation of protective order, police said. He was arrested in Milford, police added.

His bond was set at $100,000.

Christopher Andrew Decarvalho, 32, of Judson Street, Shelton, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and criminal violation of a protective order.

Police stopped him in an allegedly unregistered car and found him with a person whom he was barred from seeing.

His bond was set at $25,500.

Finally, Laurissa Lynn Palmenta, 25, of Capital Avenue, Bridgeport, is charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault after police said she hit a male companion following a dispute at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.
