Trumbull Residents: Check Sewer Bills for Errors

A number of Trumbull residents received sewer bills that have large errors.

125 of 10,252 invoices for Trumbull residents had errors in the unit charge, which affected the total bill amount, according to the Trumbull Times. Some residents had bills with more than $600 in excess charges.

The error was realized shortly after the bills went out and corrected bills were sent the next day, according to town officials.

Town Democrats are calling for an audit of the billing system.
