The girls basketball team seeks a 4-0 start on Friday when the defending FCIAC champions visit Westhill in a 5:45 p.m. start.
Victoria Pfohl scored 13 points and Erin Moore added nine for the Eagles, who defeated Fairfield Warde 45-24 on Wednesday for their 26th consecutive FCIAC victory.
Trumbull has held each of its first three opponents to 34 points or less, giving up an average of 28.3 points in the three games.

Westhill, which did not play on Wednesday, has gotten off to an 0-2 start.
St. Joseph also looks to improve to 4-0 under new coach Chris Lindwall as it hosts Darien (2-0) at 7 p.m.

Nancy Stablein scored 16 points to pace three players in double figures as the Cadets defeated New Canaan 58-56 on Wednesday. Jessica Jowdy added 14 and Jenn Vasquez chipped in with 13.
On the boys side, St. Joseph is at Darien and Trumbull hosts Westhill in 7 p.m. start.
The Cadets opened defense of their Class LL state title with a 90-35 win over New Canaan and could have another field day against Darien, which was overwhelmed by Ridgefield, 70-20. Darien trailed 64-8 after three quarters.
Trumbull looks to bounce back from a 55-43 loss to Warde against the Vikings, who are playing their season opener.
