Round one goes to the boys basketball team.

Timajh Parker turned in his best game of the season with 30 points and 15 rebounds as the Cadets held off Trinity Catholic 65-61 Tuesday night in Stamford in a battle of FCIAC powers.

St. Joseph, which improved to 8-0, avenged a loss to Trinity Catholic in last year's FCIAC playoffs in which the Crusaders rallied from a 20-point deficit in the second half.

James Jenning added 14 points for the Cadets, who saw the Crusaders rally within 61-59 late in the fourth quarter.
