Two members of the Class LL state champion St. Joseph basketball team were honored by the FCIAC on Thursday. Timajh Parker was named to the all-FCIAC first team and Oscar Assie, who played in the 36th annual CHSCA Senior All-Star Festival on Thursday night, was chosen for the second team. Assie also earned a spot on the all-FCIAC defensive squad.
James Jennings, Brandon Jones and Jake Fulton were named all-FCIAC East honorable mention.

-- Several members of the Trumbull and St. Joseph girls basketball teams also were honored by the FCIAC. Leading the way was Trumbull's Kelly Coughlin, who earned a spot on the first team after helping lead the Eagles to the FCIAC championship.Trumbull's Victoria Pfohl was named to the second team and Erin Moore landed on the third team. Honorable mention picks from Trumbull were Mookie Kennedy and Taisha Lima.
For St. Joseph, Nancy Stablein was named to the first team while Jess Dowdy was a second-team pick. Amaia Gritsko and Taylor Whiting of the Cadets earned honorable mention status.

After a 19-1 regular season, Trumbull (23-2) defeated Ridgefield in the FCIAC championship and earned the top seed in the Class LL tournament, but the Eagles were upset by Career Magnet in the quarterfinals.
St. Joseph (16-8) fell to Trumbull in the semifinals of the FCIAC playoffs, then lost to Manchester in the second of the Class LL tournament.
