Trumbull Seeks Community Input On Use Of ARPA Funds

TRUMBULL, CT — Residents will be able to submit comments on uses for American Rescue Plan Act funds during two upcoming town meeting.

According to the town website, Trumbull officials are still seeking input from the community on what projects should be included in the use of ARPA funds.

Anyone who wishes to submit suggestions can do so using this American Rescue Plan Act Suggestion Form. The link for public comments on the ARPA will close Friday.

On Oct. 27, the town will hold a joint meeting of the Town Council and the Board of Finance in the Trumbull High School auditorium at 7 p.m. to continue discussing suggested uses of the ARPA funds, a discussion that began at an earlier joint meeting in September.

During the meeting, the council and the board will listen to comments from the public. To allow time for the Town Council and the Board of Finance to continue their discussion, public comments should be limited to three minutes per speaker.

On Nov. 17, a formal public hearing will be held regarding the ARPA funds, providing residents with another opportunity to comment on possible uses. The location of the meeting has yet to be determined.
