Trumbull State Rep. Devlin Celebrates Women Owned Business Day at Capitol
Devlin, a business owner herself, joined in on the networking and discussion event with state and national leaders.

Trumbull State Rep. Laura Devlin participated at the Women’s Business Development Council’s second annual Women-Owned Business Day at the State Capitol.
“Seeing all these women business owners today at the State Capitol is encouraging,” Devlin said. “As a business owner, WBDC client and a legislator, I have great respect and appreciation for the work WBDC does to empower women to start and grow thriving businesses in our state.”
Devlin owns and runs a strategic communications and consulting business outside of her time as a state representative. She said the event highlighted challenges business owners must overcome, such as access to funding.
