Trumbull State Rep. Devlin Seeks Re-Election
Devlin is seeking her second term as a state representative.

TRUMBULL, CT- State Rep. Laura Devlin (R-134) announced Tuesday that she is seeking her second term as a state representative.
Devlin spent her first term on the legislature's Transportation Committee, Government Administration & Elections Committee and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee.
Devlin said she believes Connecticut should be a great place to live, work and retire and opposed 2015 tax hikes.

"For far too long, we have struggled with reckless spending by our state government that is devastating our economy, and with it hurting our families and businesses”, she said. “GE leaving Fairfield for Boston needs to be the final wake-up call for the General Assembly. We need to be a welcoming state for businesses – the job creators who can turn our economy around.”
Devlin is also a proponent of environmental legislation. She also worked to pass bipartisan legislation that established a 'Student Loan Bill of Rights' and provided students with dyslexia with additional support.

She has lived in Fairfield for more than 20 years and was previously a member of the town's RTM. Devlin is also a small business owner and former Metro North commuter.
