Trumbull Town Council to Vote on $160.5 Million Budget Thursday Night
There is some controversy surrounding a proposed new director of parks and rec position.

The Trumbull Town Council will vote on the town’s proposed budget Thursday night.
The $160.5 million proposal represents at 2.24 percent increase over the current year, according to the Trumbull Times.
One point of controversy in the budget is the creation of a $91,000 a year position for a director of parks and recreation. First Selectman Tim Herbst has argued that the position would mirror that of many other towns in the region.
