Question 2, which pertained mostly to language clean-up, failed by more than 1,500 votes, according to the Times.

Question 3, which pertained to pensions, failed by more than 1,000 votes.

Democrat Marilyn Moore beat Republican Enrico Costantini in the state Senate 22nd District race, according to the Connecticut Post.

The 22nd district covers Trumbull, Monroe and parts of Bridgeport. Constantini did well in Trumbull, his hometown. 

State Rep. David Rutigliano (R-123) beat Democrat challenger Doug Sutherland, according to the Trumbull Times.

Republican Laura Devlin won in the 134th state house district, beating Democrat Tara Cook-Littman, according to the Times. Republican Ben McGorty won an uncontested race in the 112nd house district.
