He also specializes in site plan review, staff reporting, small area plans, and transit-oriented development planning. Mr. Librandi will be the staff advisor to the Trumbull Planning & Zoning Commission, and will work closely with Director of Economic & Community Development Jamie Brätt, who previously served as Trumbull’s planner for three years before being promoted this past spring.
“The role of the Planning and Zoning Department in guiding a responsible land use plan is very important to not only myself but also to First Selectman Herbst. We were determined to conduct an exhaustive search for a candidate who had both the technical skills and the people skills to complement our stellar development services teams,” said Jamie Brätt. “Rob is a skilled planner: he is ethical, he is objective, he believes in long-term planning and thorough plan review with public participation, and he believes in the merits of smart-growth in the suburban context,” added First Selectman Timothy Herbst.
