Trumbull Woman Arrested For Target Shoplifting: PD
She exchanged items she didn't purchase for merchandise credit.

TRUMBULL, CT — A local woman was arrested after she was caught exchanging items she didn't buy for merchandise credit at the Trumbull mall Target, according to police.
Amanda Phillips, 35, was first spotted in the store Aug. 6 grabbing bed sheets and returning them for the credit, police said. She did a similar scheme two other times for a total theft of $175.
Phillips was arrested Nov. 7 while meeting her probation officer. She was charged with three counts of sixth-degree larceny.
