Trumbull Wrestlers Improve To 10-2 In Own Invitational
David Barbar, Bryan Barnash, Ben Anderson go undefeated for the day, as Eagles beat Glastonbury, Amity, and Masuk, but fall to beat top-ranked New Milford.
Trumbull's blend of newcomers and veterans has worked well for wrestling coach Charlie Anderson.
Seniors Bryan Barnash and David Barbar are two of the Eagles' top grapplers and went undefeated against the best team in the state, New Milford, during Saturday's Trumbull Invitational.
Barnash, who flips between the 215 and heavyweight classes, is undefeated this season after a tremendous showing last year. He won all of his four matches Saturday on pins.
