Trumbull Youth Association Funding Back on Town Budget

The Board of Finance voted 4-2 to accept First Selectman Tim Herbst’s budget with the addition of about $119,000, including funding for the Trumbull Youth Association.

Herbst’s proposed budget cut town funding for TYA. The program also brought in money through fees, according to the Trumbull Times.

The total increase over the current budget is 2.24 percent.

Herbst’s education budget was accepted as is with its $573,000 proposed cut.
