Two Trumbull Officers Suspended After Arrests

Two Trumbull officers were arrested in Stratford after a domestic incident.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police Officers Michael Gonzalez, 40, and Kaitlyn Arcamone, 28, were placed on administrative leave after they were both arrested in Stratford following a domestic incident.

Trumbull Police will conduct their own internal investigation, Chief Michael Lombardo told the Trumbull Times.

Gonzalez was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct while Arcamone was charged with disorderly conduct, according to the Connecticut Post.

The two got into an argument in March that escalated to violence, Stratford Police said. Police records indicate that officers went to Gonzalez's home March 24 and spoke to him after a 911 call was made about the argument.

Trumbull Police contacted Stratford Police June 18 about the incident.
