TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Health Department invites residents to get a flu shot or a Pfizer bivalent booster on Election Day.
According to the town website, the health department will offer flu shots Tuesday during walk-in hours from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- No appointment is necessary.
- Only standard doses are available, no high doses.
- To reduce wait time, please download and complete consent forms, which are available here.
- Must be at least 5 years old.
- Most major insurances accepted.
- For those without insurance, a standard dose is $40 (cash or check accepted).
- Arrive with your license and insurance card.
- A short sleeves shirt recommended.
For the Pfizer bivalent booster:
- Appointments are required; please call 203 638-5230.
- Must be at least 12 years old.
- Must be at least two months since a patient's last dose.

Per the CDC, residents should wait at least two months post-infection to get a bivalent booster. This is also supported by a recent preprint that showed that boosting within 60 days of infection negated the benefit of a booster, town officials said.
