Warrant: Alleged Trumbull Kidnapper Brutally Attacked Estranged Wife

The man who set off an Amber Alert appeared in court Thursday.

TRUMBULL, CT- The man charged with attacking his wife and setting off an Amber Alert after he kidnapped his son appeared in court Thursday.

Rodolfo Revello, 43, appeared before a judge. A warrant detailed the reported assault, according to News 12.

Revello allegedly tried to break his estranged wife's jaw off before choking her. He also allegedly threatened to kill her.

Revello's bond was set at $500,000.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service took him into custody earlier this week after he was found in the Bronx N.Y.

He was wanted since March 12 when he allegedly broke into his estranged wife's home on Unity Road around 4:30 a.m. He allegedly kidnapped his young son and fled to New York.

Revello is charged with kidnapping, larceny, strangulation, assault, threatening and criminal mischief in the second degree. He will also be charged with disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a restraining order.
