Wilton Rolls To 41-14 Win Over St. Joseph

Senior quarterback threw a pair of TD passes for the Warriors and also rushed for two TDs

Sean Carroll accounted for four touchdowns as Wilton routed St. Joseph 41-14 on Saturday afternoon to improve to 2-0.

Carroll rushed for a pair of TDs in the first half as the Warriors build a 27-7 lead the intermission.

The senior then tossed TD passes of 30 and 16 yards to Alex Ward in the third quarter, helping the Warriors pull away.

Travis Stella and Connor Devane also rushed for TDs in the first half for Wilton, which opened its season with a 33-20 win over Bridgeport Central.

After falling behind 21-0, St. Joseph (0-2) got on the board on Pat Boyle's 7-yard TD pass to Denzel Moscova.

St. Joseph backup quarterback Jordan Vazzano tossed a 3-yard TD pass to Mark Hirschbeck in the fourth quarter after Wilton had built a 41-7 cushion in the third quarter.

The Cadets were coming off a 21-7 loss to Staples in their opener last week.
