Woman Fraudulently Bought 10 iPhones: Trumbull PD
The total value of the phones is nearly $8,000.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Waterbury woman was arrested after she fraudulently purchased 10 iPhones on another person's account, according to police.
Jennifer Spezzano, 38, had a line on the AT&T account of a friend's family, police said. The friend died about six months ago and Spezzano and her friend's parents agreed she would be taken off the account.
On Aug. 17 the victim came to Trumbull Police headquarters to report fraud on the account. The victim gave Spezzano the pin number to make changes to the account with the belief that she would take herself off.

Instead Spezzano bought 10 iPhones for $7,919 at various store locations in Connecticut. She told store clerks that she was starting a business.
The victim was willing to drop criminal charges if Spezzano returned the phones, but that didn't happen, police said. A warrant was drafted for Spezzano's arrest and she turned herself in Sept. 26.
