Woman Groped At Stop And Shop: Trumbull PD

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested after he groped a woman at Stop and Shop, according to police.

The female victim went to police Sept. 20 to complain about the incident. She said a man walked near her near the meat aisle and then said he was going to follow her, police said. She lost sight of him in the store and later on felt someone grab her breast and put another hand on her body. Her bra was also exposed during the incident.

She noticed it was the same man as before, according to police. He claimed to have stumbled into her.

Police reviewed security video and identified the man. He turned himself in on an active warrant Oct. 20.

John Kocsis, 82, was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree breach of peace.
