Woman Stole $745 Worth of Jeans from Trumbull Store: PD

She didn't steal a full box of jeans, but rather a few pairs of high-end pairs.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested after she stole four pairs of Hudson jeans worth $745 from Lord and Taylor, according to police.

Police were summoned to the store Dec. 19 on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Emma Holden, 43, went into a fitting room with another woman and came out with no visible jeans. The two split up and loss prevention went after Holden who was holding a bag, police said.

The bag was lined with foil and she had wire cutters, according to police.

She was charged with fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device.
